10/11 Update for Katie

10/11 Update - Went to dr this morning first thing. Went over all results of blood work.....Her liver enzymes were 51 & 41 normal is 38 & 25. Her white blood count was high(can't remember number). Her blood sugar was 34 (normal is 70-100). Rash still present. So......dr still stumped. Basically it could be anything from she has been so sick recently that her liver just is having a hard time recovering, and it will just take a little time. Or this all could be a virus, today they did more bloodwork....testing specifically for Hepatitis A or B, Auto immune disorders. Also as far as the sugar, it could be due to the same virus and liver problems....or she could have diabetes and it is coincidence they found it this way. We are to monitor her sugar intakes and test periodically. So from here. They took 5 vials of blood to test for a list of things. They ordered a ultrasound of her liver at the hospital and also Monday will make us an appointment at Riley Children's Hospital in Indy with a liver specialist.
So....we are praying for knowledge for Doctors, help for Katie as all the needles of course scare her. Also since she has been complaining of back pain and stomach pain this whole time she isn't sleeping well, so I haven't been sleeping well.
